Entry Level Civil Engineer

Department: Civil
Location: Indianapolis, IN

We are seeking an entry level civil engineer who has an interest in civil/municipal site design to join our team. In this position, you will be involved in the planning, design, and construction engineering for sanitary sewer, stormwater, water distribution, and water resources projects. Our civil engineering group provides engineering services for municipal and industrial clients.

You will receive guidance and support from experienced engineers and project managers. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoys working on a variety of client projects throughout the Midwest.

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Internship/co-op experience and Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software and/or a willingness to learn
  • Perform quantity estimates, detailing, and check calculations and drawings
  • Organize scheduling of specific tasks and assignments
  • Willingness to learn construction methods through field inspection
  • Excellent communication and writing skills and a motivation to learn
